How Much Does a Mobile Notary Cost in South Pasadena?

The price of a mobile notary appointment usually consists of two parts: the fee for the notarial act and a separate fee for traveling to the signer.

Additional services, such as document printing or an urgent-hours appointment, may affect the total.

California notarial fees

California permits notaries to charge up to:

  • $15 for each notarized signature on an acknowledgment

  • $15 for a jurat

  • $15 for administering an oath or affirmation to one person

  • $15 for certifying a copy of a power of attorney

The fee is based on the number of notarized signatures or notarial acts—not simply the number of documents or pages.

Mobile travel fee

Our standard mobile travel fee starts at $35 within our regular service area.

Travel pricing may vary based on:

  • The appointment location

  • Distance and travel time

  • Parking or facility-access requirements

  • Evening, weekend, or urgent scheduling

  • Time required to wait for the signer or witnesses

We provide the estimated total before confirming your appointment.

Example appointment estimates

A standard appointment may look like:

  • One notarized signature plus standard travel: approximately $50

  • Two notarized signatures plus standard travel: approximately $65

  • Three notarized signatures plus standard travel: approximately $80

These examples assume the $35 standard travel fee and no additional printing, parking, waiting, or after-hours charges.

Document printing

If you need documents printed before the appointment, send a final, print-ready PDF.

Our printing fees are:

  • Black-and-white: $0.50 per printed side

  • Color: $1 per printed side

  • Minimum printing charge: $10

Printing means producing copies of documents supplied by the customer. We do not draft, complete, select, or provide legal advice about documents.

Get much will my appointment cost?

Before requesting an estimate, gather:

  • The appointment address

  • The number of signers

  • The approximate number of signatures requiring notarization

  • The requested date and time

  • Whether printing is needed

  • Whether the location charges for parking

  • Whether witnesses have already been arranged

If you do not know how many signatures require notarization, send the document or ask the receiving party for clarification. Do not send sensitive documents through an unsecured method.
